Flexpoint Announces Use
of Sensors for
Commercial Trucks

AM ETDRAPER, Utah--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Flexpoint Sensor Systems Inc. (OTCBB:FLXT ) today
announced that they are
working with a European
supplier of fuel
management systems on
the development of a
sensor to be utilized in
fuel systems designed to
produce significant fuel
savings for fleets of
large trucks.
The advantages of the
Bend Sensor in this
application are its
abilities to handle
exposure to the fuel
without degradation and
its ease of
installation. The single
layer construction,
overall durability, and
its chemical resistant
properties make the Bend
Sensor® a good solution
for this type of
application. According
to the European
supplier’s estimates
there are six million
fleet trucks in Europe
and approximately ten
million trucks in the US
that would benefit from
the system. With fuel
costs being such a major
contributing factor in
shipping costs, a system
that provides a
significant cost savings
should be attractive to
fleet operators.
